I highly recommend this service.  The milk is delivered early (around 6am) and reliably.  With younger children, I used to have to go to Morrisons every other day to queue up endlessly just to buy milk, but the home deliveries spare me this.  There's also an old thread on this on the chiswickW4.com site with more recommendations.

We've found the service very reliable. You can alter your order on line up to 9pm the night before or by an old-fashioned note to the milkman left in the top of the milk bottle.

I also use this service. Fresh bottled milk and orange juice delivered before 7am and as Guy points out,you can order other supplies like bread, eggs, and much more before 9pm the night before........Have never been let down yet !!

I just get milk and juice in glass bottles and also a smoothie.  I find it good to get the basic amount like this and then if we do need more we can pop out and get it in plastic containers.  I reckon the fewer times you go out to the shops to buy, the cheaper your shopping is.  However much you try it is very easy as you walk all around the supermarket trying to put a meal together to pick up things which are not on your shopping list - so that milk that you only went out to buy suddenly becomes quite a lot more expensive.

milks good and delivered v early but the veggie box was a disapointment. Ours has made 2 mistakes in a year so not too bad but theres all sorts of good reasons to to buy milk in a glass bottle, its just a shame its largely disapeared.

For veggie boxes, there's Able & Cole.  I've not used them, but I hear that they offer an excellent service.

I even noticed a Council promoting milk deliveries by milkman the other day!  It reduces the amount of plastic to a much more manageable level.
