Mother and baby groups

hello,i am just about to have baby number two. there is a big gap between my son who is ten and this baby. Can anyone recommend a good mother and baby group?ThanksThea

Coram currently run some excellent groups in Acton. Baby massage is on Mondays at Maples Nursery. It's free and you can take your baby from 6 weeks old. You need to book through Coram (rather than the nursery) on 020 8993 3609. On Wednesdays from 1-3 it's Bumps to Babies at the community centre in Acton Vale. It's a great way to meet other mums and I've found that I have so many neighbours with babies the same age as mine. You can go to that now while you have the 'bump' until baby is a year old. The staff are wonderful.

It's been a while since I attended these, but one of the best ones was in Acton Hill Church on a Mon & Tues morning from 9-12.  Also, Acton Baptist Church held one on Wednesdays, with a very busy morning session and quieter afternoon one.  There used to also be a session at the London Network Church on East Acton Lane.  You'll need to double check all of these, especially the dates/times.
