Slow Internet

Anyone else getting very slow broadband over the last few days? - I'm with Plusnet, don't know if it's them or a local problem. The internet is about 10 times slower than usual.

I've got BT Broadband and I'm finding the whole service really really bad. A combination of the broadband itself constantly dropping out, and the wireless from my Hub dropping and then not picking up again is really irritating me. I'm revision for an exam and using the online materials they provide (no books anymore) is becoming a real hassle.

Andy, reading your post gave me flashbacks! We used to have BT Broadband and got rid of it 6 months ago because we got so fed up of the connection dropping all the time. It wasnt so bad before but when we upgraded to the so called superior black home hub it was appalling. We changed to Virgin and havent looked back. Super fast and completely reliable. So impressive that we've just got rid of Sky and have the Virgin TV package which I had severe reservations about because I liked the features of sky plus, but am pleasantly surprised to say that the Virgin package is vastly superior and with the TV/Broadband/phone package less than we had been paying for Sky alone. No connection to Virgin, but rarely impressed by these things so thought i'd share:)
