A good word for Poundstretchers
Credit where credit is due! Early last year I purchased a 'so-called' "Magic" window cleaner which I put in a cupboard and promptly forgot until a couple of days ago!The sunn was shining so I thought it would be useful when cleaning my double glazed windows - well it was as useful as a chocolate teapot! No way would it adhere to the window, no wonder the 2 magnets had a string attached, one needed it to keep hauling the other part back indoors again!Anyway to cut a long story short,I popped in to Poundstretchers and explained the situation - no-one was more surprised than I was to receive an immediate refund! I had the receipt still in the box.That's what I call service. I wonder though whether the shop had previous problems with this gadget? How does one clean double glazed windows - it is difficult to reach the outside and we never see window cleaners nowadays.
