Advance Warning A40 Road Works Acton
Notice details follow: A40 Western Avenue Crash Barrier works, Ealing Amey on behalf of Transport for London (TfL) has been appointed to carry out crash barrier extension work along the A40 Western Avenue (London bound)in Ealing outside house numbers 328-354. These works will bring benefits to residents along this section of the A40 following multiple accidents where vehicles left the carriageway. Upon completion, these works will improve safety on the footway. In order to minimise disruption to traffic and following consultation with the London Borough of Ealing, these works will be carried out during the day from 9:30am to 4:00pm (Monday to Friday) and are scheduled to start on 7th March 2011 for approximately 4 weeks weather permitting. During the works, the carriageway will be reduced to 2 lanes with advance warning signs provided on site.
