la viande

...has anyone ever shopped in there for meat or fish and what was it like? I ventured in once but didn't like the smell much, slightly 'off'ish' meat smell.I never see any customers in there and wonder for how much longer it will survive?

Never for meat or fish but they have some quite interesting things in bottles: pickles and the like and i once got a slightly droopy head of celery - but no-one else our end seemed to stock one at all.Agreed - never seen a customer and it's a funny mish mash

I stand to be corrected - but I think they have gone already.It was closed for a week or two and then I saw people the other night loading what looked like household cleaning products onto shelves ... Same frontage at present however.

Why would you say that Doris on no evidence - incredibly defamatory.I rode past this morning and it was open and looked shuffled round but unchanged - couldn't see customers.
