dog mess & car drivers!!

Could the people who let their dogs foul the pavements along Perryn Road please go & let them do it on the streets where they live & walk along!!The road could be lovely but is full of not only this but car drivers who have no concern for pedestrians!be careful in more ways than one!

I'd like to bump this one up as some people have not been cleaning up behind their dogs along Cowper Road either. Awful!

The same applies to Birkbeck Avenue, Allison Road, Faraday Road and Brougham Road!Irresponsible dog owners allow their pets to foul the pavement, or, equally disgusting, the mess is scooped up and left all over the place is small black plastic bags for  someone else to pick up!I checked with the Council and apparently the litter-pickers are contracted to pick up ANY type of rubbish on the pavements!Those responsible, if identified, should be fined heavily to send out the message that this behaviour really is not acceptable.Why keep a dog if you can't be bothered to clean up after it?

When I walked to Acton Central shortly after 7am, a dog had fowled the pavement on the east side of Goldsmith Road. When I walked back home the same way around 6pm, a poor soul had already flattened the mess unwillingly. But there was as well another huge mess close by. I was so upset that I took some white chalk and encircled several of the heaps. I don't know whether it will help but at least these uncaring owners might realize that somebody is upset. I will as well contact the council and let them know the street names all of you have mentioned. It can not be up to the poor sweepers to pick up the mess. Something else must be done.

It is an offence to let your dog foul the footway. The best way forward is to find out where the owner of the dog lives and inform the local Enforcement officer, who has powers to fine the owner.The usual form would be for the Enforcement Officer to advise the owner of the offence they are committing, and should it happen again they will be fined.Same as for putting black bags of rubbish on the pavement.

This is the answer I received after forwarding the names of all streets in W3 troubled with dog poo to streetwatchers@ealing.gov.uk :Please find below job numbers for  the roads that are affected with dog fouling. I have spoken to the Envirocrime officer and he has asked me to log the jobs as Highway encroachment, and he will deal with the queries as soon as possible.Hopefully we will receive an update that will stop the continuous dog fouling in these streets.If I receive any further updates I will pass onto yourself.Afred road - 776820Birkbeck road - 776823cowper road - 776826goldsmith avenue - 776827perryn road - 776829broughman road - 776835 Well, let's wait and see.

Another pile of dog poo this morning on the corner of Horn Lane/Birkbeck Avenue, outside Horn Lane Surgery!These dog owners have no sence of responsibility for their animals - leave it for someone else to clear up!
