Anna Chancellor is living in the clouds

Knock on anyone's door for help? Really?Is she dreaming?If not, how long has she lived in Acton and how many doors has she knocked on?Has she knocked on those around the South Acton housing estate?Just wait a live a bit longer here Anna and then let us know if you'll be knocking on any more doors.

We do it all the time - not all the doors but there's a lot of egg and cycle rack borrowing round here...giving balls back, sharing gardening tips, cups of coffee...holding keys etc. Makes life a lot easier.I don't suppose she does it on the South Acton Estate because she doesn't live there, but some of the people probably do, some of the time.

Well we had people knocking on our door this afternoon when they were locked out!Mind you we don't live on the South Acton Estate!

I might not live on South Acton Estate, but some other people, who I call friends, certainly do. They are even foreign!!!!  And gues what..... They do help each other out. They knock on each other's doors etc..  They are just people like you an me  trying to live their lives. unfortunately they cannot afford a cosy poets corner location, but that does not mean that they are not people living their community lives!  So Anna Chancellor, good for you if you like living in Acton, so do I.  We need more famous people with voices like yours that are being heard and then Ealing Council might start spending some money on community facilities instead of allowing developpers to just built up the area!

i live  in south acton lovely  road very  good  neigbours when  i am ill they ask  do  i need  shoping  etc 6 yrs here  and very  happy

Well said to all, having worked in & around south acton in Bollo lane, since '87, i have never had any problem with regards to people from the south acton estate, so to single them out is unfair, & if you had the decency to speak with Anna, you'll find her head is not in the clouds, she is a lovely lady, who despite her busy schedule, finds time for all.... enough said!!! :)
