Any news of the Friary Park area CPZ?

I've emailed our Councillors twice so far and no reply.  I miss Vlod Barchuk.  I may email him as he'll probably know despite not being our Councillor now.Any news anyone?John Lewis lorries and Gowing & Pursey skip trucks galore parked up in Friary Road today.  Impossible to turn at the lights without being blocked.  They even left their engines running whilst sat in there sleeping or eating.  Fantastic.  This stretch of road, of course, is already a no parking zone.  Amazing.

Angela, if these illegally parked vehicles should be receiving parking tickets, can I suggest you send photograps to the Leader of the Council.  I'm sure he would be interested to know that the Council is losing money - especially when they are cutting back on essential services.

Hayes has been posting about this for years and consistently emailing photos etc to anyone & everyone; the Council mainly of course.To no avail, the vehicles still park with impunity.There is the definite whiff of a huge dead rat about all this, something is just not right.Go figure .........................

There was a police car also parked along the road whilst a policeman and a policewoman queued up for their grub.
