Charities that collect stuff from your house?

I think there was something on this forum recently about a charity that will collect items from your house; I have a big old boxy TV (and VCR) which works fine but is too heavy for me to schlep to Emmaus House without a car.Also, any ideas about what to do with old video cassettes?  Again, I think there was some advice recently on the forum so apologies for not having made note of it.

I offered my old video tapes on here and someone collected them for their cctv system.

Olga - The British Heart Foundation will collect, but I am not sure if they will take large electrical items.  Some charities will take commercial videos, although not ones you have recorded yourself.  It's worth giving them a try.
