Apologies for the delay, both my sister and I believe the report was in a fairly recent "around Ealing" free magazine from the council. The advertising board that I found excessively bright while I was driving in the evening is the one that covers the CPW Talk-Talk building which was varying between adverts and sometimes reaching full unfiltered brightness, while the advertising board opposite in the back garden of the first house along the Western Avenue was reported to have been built without planning permission. I understand that many of the houses along that stretch of the A40 are unregistered HMO's, several of which have modifications, extensions, and external buildings without planning permission. Previous councillors had claimed to be taking action to deal with the illegal items, not sure what action is taking place now.
