Bonfire

Hi, one of our neighbour is burning some rubbish in his garden. It's really warm outside, we have some washed clothes outside, wanted to spend some time in our garden as we have a little baby. Now I can wash it again, we have to go outside, because it smells really bad. I tried to speak to them (they don't show up) and now they're saying that it's barbeque - I'm absolutely sure it's some garden waste, paper or something.Unfortunately none of other neighbours are at home, so they can't say anything. It is a normal thing for some people??? Is there anything what we can do about it?Thanks.

If it's just once - though annoying - it's probably not worth the fuss and hassle.If often then, if talking to them doesn't work, i would log the occsasions and talk to the environmental people at the council - there is an officer for each ward.i think this is a smoke free zone so it's probably not allowed but, as I say, for a one-off, just very cross-making.

I have just closed all my windows due to stink of burning always happens as summers comes.
