What to do on Royal Wedding day?

Husband working all day (somebody has to at a boarding school when the academic staff don't want to be there)kids at UniMother volunteering at her Old People's Home (not in it, just working there)Many to most friends away.Watch wedding or not?At home alone no fun, at brother's in Epsom even lessIs the Rocket showing it I wonder...No Acton street parties obvious...and certainly not in my streetSo, could work but that's a bit dreary on a bunce bank holiday, do something improving and/or worthwhile(ditto)..nothing good on at the flicks.What is everyone else doing?PS this is not a request for an invitation - just ideas!

An evening of Opera and music (Edward VII Strings!)at a super pub opposite Kew Bridge. No entrance fee. Travel: train Acton Central to Gunnersbury..then bus to Kew Bridge. just a suggestion.

It's all started jolly early - wholly barking people camped out around Westminster yesterday and thousands already around the big screens in Hyde Park etc.Can't bear hours and hours of this...Shall go and water Horacio's allotment!
