Hammersmith Hospital Cancer Care
'Hammersmith Hospital provides the worst care for cancer patients in the country according to a league table compiled by Macmillan Cancer Support.' according to the front page story.But when you read a bit further, you find that this doesn't refer to treatment for said cancer, to chemo or surgery, but to how often a nurse says, 'There, there, dearie,' to you.My husband was successfully treated for cancer at Hammersmith and it'd be my first choice if I were unlucky enough to need it.Seriously: priorities, please!
