Does anyone have one that I can borrow this weekend? I'm near Acton Mainline station but would obviously collect and deliver back by Monday...Thanks

oh shame - we hired one last weekend from city hire opposite the dump in churchfield road - they only charged for one day but were closed for four - so you could have had it then.Works a treat on patio and - even better - on garden furniture. You could ask Dave-next-door. He has something similar!

Where is city hire? And how much did they charge?

Opposite the dump in sterling Road - round the corner from Poores - who recommended them.It ended up being about £40 - ie thirty somehting plus VAT.But as they are mostly commercial hire, they are not open weekends so we paid for one day over Easter - picked up Thursday and took back the following Tuesday - you could do the whole street in that time.I really enjoyed stripping the lichen off the decaying garden furniture - re-oiling it three times was rather less fun.
Ah thanks your earlier post said opposite dump in Churchfield Rd and I know one end is dodgy i.e. the bird poo end but hadn't noticed a dump as such!I must clean the patio area, keep meaning to, hose and broom not doing the job.

sorry - brain death! It's a great toy/tool. Even the average stroppy/unhelpful adolescent would enjoy it if offered in a tom Sawyer-ish way.

We have one you can borrow if you like but probably not as powerful as the ones you hire.
