Reciprocal Babysitting or Babysitting Circle

Does anybody know of a babysitting circle that exists in the W3 or W4 area?  If not would anybody be interested in becoming involved in reciprocal babysitting?We are looking for another couple(s), who have young children (we have two under 3).  One of us would babysit for you for a couple of hours one night a week / fortnight and in return one of you would babysit for us for a couple of hours a week / fortnight.  The advantage would be that both couples would get a regular, free, reliable and experienced babysitter.Ideally we would want a couple whose job means that they are CRB checked.  However, this is not a deal breaker as it is possible to arrange CRB checks.If anybody is interested please contact me at andy.magee@yahoo.com.Thanks

Does a CRB check really help?It only means you haven't been convicted of anything - not that you have never done anything.Don't you think it gives a flase sense of security?Wouldn't a reference or mutual acquaintance be better?

A reference or mutual acquaintance would be perfectly acceptable.  It is hard to get the balance right.
