Poet's Brasserie
We tried this the other night. Hubby is a chef and we like good food, so were hopeful. The caprese salad was lovely and fresh, and the calamari nicely cooked, not rubbery. We both had saltimbucco with home-made gnocchi, which was delicious. Slightly salty because of the pancetta, but very good. The tiramisu was lovely, not quite boozy enough for me though and slightly too big, but very good.It wasn't a cheap night, but for a lovely meal in a relaxed atmosphere we were very pleased with it. Staff were friendly too.
