Gel nails are the answer

Had a rather "Legally Blonde" therapy session with Ellie at Pro-hands:Douglas Adams' answer to Life, the universe and everything was 42 and hers is gel nails - more helpful really. Anyhow they look fab and apparently last for about three weeks even if you garden with them.

As a now experienced gel nail polish user, gardening, cleaning bathrooms, catering and washing up for numerous people and my polish lasts the course and looks fab. Enjoy flashing them Sarah, they're great. Did you go bright red or something more subtle?

They don't seem to come in subtle really so yes pretty "scarlet vermilion" Shame they don't match the toes

How much do they cost, do they need to be removed professionally? do you think they will last two weeks?thanks

Yes, the polish does need to be removed your beautician. Ellie charges £25 for polish removal, manicure and new polish. I have had mine done four times and they have lasted more than two weeks. Only once when I managed to get my nail in the way of the potato peeler, then the water got under the polish, did I have to back for a repair.

Most people say two and a half to three weeks - when anyhow they have started to grow out.I think mine will last less - but I am very hard on nails and a usual manicure does well to last a day and a half with me and so is not worth doing.
