I received no notification regarding application P/2011/1473 and therefore did not have the opportunity to object to the initial plans, which I would have done.There is a large amount of scaffolding at the property already in situ, this suggests that the planning application is a mere box ticking exercise and that the decision has already been made.Parking – already a significant problem, adding essentially 20 households into the space of one dwelling will worsen the congestion significantly.Waste and refuge – where will this be stored? The extra refuge will be unsitely and unhealthy if on the street. I assume this will be stored in wheelie-type bins and if so where will these be stored?A significant number of people will inhabit the bedsits Are Ealing Council going to provide tenants for this and therefore is there a vested interest in planning permission being granted? There will also undoubtedly be children amongst the inhabitants adding further pressure on school places, even before the residential component of the Oaks development is taken into account.Property prices - This proposal, I hesitate to use the word development, will undoubtedly negatively effect property prices on Alfred Road, as well as towering over Churchfield Road and altering the look and atmosphere of the area. I am planning to object.
