The two old blankets are World War 2 vintage, occasionally used for packing round delicate articles, etc. There was also an old boiler suit, an overall, some old work gloves, waterproof overtrousers, and some screws and wall plugs. All of great interest to an up-to-date hoodie. I always cleared anything valuable from the car, even if that meant carrying several bags or boxes between the house and car almost every time I went out. I can read a map, so do not have a satnav.
