Spate of number plate thefts, Acton, W3
To bring to your attention there have been several number plates stolen on the ward this month. This is not only inconvenient to the victim but stolen plates are often stolen to mask the true identity of a car which is then used in crime.We can provide you anti theft screws free of charge supplied by the council. The screws are easy to fit replacing your existing ones. The anti theft screws are not suitable for those plates secured with tape.If you would like a set of screws please email your local Police team (Acton Central residents can email me direct) with your name, address and vehicle make/model and we will arrange for the council to send a set of screws through to you free of charge.
