noise from GIBBON ROAD

Why when I come home from a long week visiting my ill father do I have to suffer noise above normal levels from a house party adjoining my flat.I cannot get access to the garden otherwise I would go and tell them to turn it off, theres a dj and full sound system, a concert infact more than a party, anybody any idea who i complain too? nobody else can obviously hear it!!?

Hi Lesley,I just read your post and I looked in the Ealing Council booklet under NOISE NUSIENCE. There are 2 telephone numbers:020 8825 8111However, I think you would need the out of hours number which is:020 8825 5000or try pollutioncontrol@ealing.gov.ukGood luck!

Why when you are told to report noise nobody takes the complaint seriously or does anything about it or don't give you theIr name when you ask for it!oh and make a complaint on monday when it is saturday night.where are the community police when they are needed.I suppose it isn't anything to do with them, joke, meanwhile no sleep, what rights do the good honest, hardworking people have anymore.

A few years ago I was at a friends party in Acton and a neighbour complained to the council. One of their staff came knocking at around midnight asking us to keep it down.

Obviously a lot has changed in a few years!!cutbacks probably to blame!!meanwhile the marquee is still in the garden, just hope it isn't going to happen again this weekend,luckily I won't be here though!
