free gigs at the George & Dragon
Hi,just to let you know we're starting a new series of events in the George & Dragon, on Acton High Street.We've got an increasingly popular open mic on Thursdays, which is now followed by a gig on Fridays, usually free, otherwise extremely cheap. This week it's Cuban singer Domingo Candelario, with a guest appearance by a fantastic bluegrass fiddle player from Salem, Virginia, who'll be reappearing with full band next Friday. There's also a special on Litovel Czech lager for £3 when gigs are on. On Sundays there's a pub cinema with an eclectic programme of double bills. This week it's all about Los Angeles with showings of Chinatown and L.A. Confidential, also free, plus free popcorn.
