Usually go but no Ray Gelato this year, so won't be going. Also put off by the Global Festival with the Wurzels headlining!!! Since when were some has been welli wearers a top Global Band, this made me doubt the competence of the person selecting the bands.

I can recommend this have been for the last 15 years on the Saturday and it's great fun. Went last Saturday to the Ealing Blues Festival for the first time and that was bril as well. We did not realise though that for the Blues there is no seats in the Main Tent so could have got in there earlier but the Crypt Tent had a wicked Bob Marley tribute band on. No glass is allowed to you will have to buy

Sorry Ray Gelato's band just isn't one of my favourites so not bothered there.  We did enjoy Basil Hodge's band with Tony Kofi playing sax in the small tent this year.With a duo in the beer tent and a band in each of the other tents there was a choice.  I wasn't amazed by the food choices I made but it was a good enough supper.  You can always take your own picnic. (Don't take any glass - as it was no glass this year.)Still the same problem with the minority of people who just get up and leave all their rubbish where they were sitting though.  Yuk!  How difficult is it to put your cans and waste in a bin?  Most people succeed in making some effort.Next year the Council should make the boards with the reproductions of the brochure pages at least twice as large and position them higher on the fence so that they are easier to read.
