Bluegrass in Acton tonight - for free

Love Bluegrass. There is a trio that have stood outside ( the first and original) Starbucks in Seattle for many years now. I could stand and listen to them all day. Really lifts the spirits.

Excellent duo last night –Thomas Bailey and Band? These were serious fiddle/guitar and banjo players, not just a couple of strummers.  Pity not more support as this was top class playing. Only down side to the evening was the lack of proper beer only gassy larger.  This gig is one of a series of Blue Grass evenings to be held at the George & Dragon.  Next week Neil Bob Herd & Billy Muir from the Coal Porters are playing, we heard the Coal Porters on a charity canal cruise earlier in the year and thoroughly enjoyed their music, so this also should be a good evening and well worth the effort, with music slightly more accessible than last night’s.  But please landlord make sure you have proper beer on tap as the same will happen as this week, when two of our party left to get a real pint elsewhere.
