Cycle Repair Station

I haven't posted here before, so this might seem a bit whiffy - I have, however been a longstanding contributor to the W4 website.To the point: I took my bike (a Brompton) to the Cycle Repair Station by Acton Central on Saturday to have the gears fixed. The guys there said they would fix the gears and give the bike a full service for £25. As I had been quoted £60 just for a service by the dealer I bought the bike from, I took them up on this.Picked the bike up Sunday, and now it's riding like an absolute dream. I have no affiliation to this business, apart from being one seriously satisfied customer.

I have had nothing but excellent service from them. Really friendly and very well priced. No connection etc.

Thank you David. We can all be so critical of local businesses and its so easy to fire off a complaint. So its great to see someone take the trouble to report on the good guys. Its important we support these local shops otherwise they will disappear. I hope you will spread the word on the W4 site too! Acton has many good things to offer.

Maybe we should have "things to do while waiting for your bike to be repaired" thread.Might include quite a lot of eating and drinking though...plus the park

My daughter had her bike repaired and serviced here too.  Very reasonable and good service, a bonus for Acton.

This buisness has been started and run by a young local man.Good to know all are supporting his good service.
