Go Compare? Go Away!

What an annoying advertisement this is!! The previous ones in the series have been terrible but the latest one (opera) seems designed to annoy every one. It really should be removed as it is offensive (to the ears and eyes). And I would never Go Compare so they are wasting their money.Maybe the answer is never to watch live TV and just fast forward through the adverts.

Worst possible?Do you remember the Wrigley's barfing dog? Made many who saw it (and screened at tea-time) want to throw up. Bit counter-productive if you are just trying to sell chewing gum.Or pot noodles?Oh there are lots of candidates for worst ad!

Brand awareness  . . . Seems they're getting it right anyway.I Googled  the word    -  compare  -  and  www.comparethemarket.com  came up.No thread about them on the Acton forum though.  Simples.

The crazy thing is that Wynne Lewis (aka 'Gio Compario') is making more money doing this than he did at Welsh National Opera.  To me the worst advert is the one where 3 ladies sit around at lunch in a restaurant and talk about their, um ... bathroom activities.  TMI ladies.
