National Insurance and Tax Records.

Does anyone know if there are legitimate means of obtaining National Insurance and Tax Records of someone who lived in the Hammersmith district between 1947 and 1971. When I made a claim against Zurich Insurance for asbestos related lung damage, my solicitor was able to get all my employment details going back to my first job as a 15-year-old back in 1968. I have failed hopelessy in trying to obtain the work records of former Abertillery and Hammersmith double child killer Harold Jones. Can anyone suggest anything please. Regards. It's legal in the USA and Norway to obtain tax records - no help to you at all, I'm sure. If you told the tax office that you found a large wad of money belonging to this name and you wished to divide it out, I'm sure they'd help straight away!

Are you the Neil Milkins who wrote "Who Was Jack The Stripper.The only thing I can think of for records is the Public archive at Kew, but, I may be wrong.Many years ago I managed to get my record's restricted, so even I cannot get information on myself.

Thank you Angela and Nicola. I am the author of Who was Jack the Stripper? I am convinced Jones was the killer? I have tried for 4 years to find Jones' places of employment between 1947 and 1965. I am entitled to know about Jones' birth, marriage and death, but it seems impossible to get details of his employment. I am sure that one day these details will become known. Regards. Neil.
