abandoned cars, Are they yours?

There is a list of four(!) cars on Talk Acton that are currently on Acacia rd. with parking tickets..does anyone knwo who they belong to? : http://talkacton.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=167

When enquiring about one on our road which appears to be abandoned, I was told that offending vehicles get issued a maximum of three parking tickets and, if no action is taken, they are removed by the council and reported to the police who then check if they are stolen or abandoned and deal with them accordingly.

You can report abandoned vehicles on Fixmystreet.  When I did it, they emailed the council who sent someone out to have a look at the car then towed it away.  Was all very quick and I had to do very little.Worth a go?
