Just read the report on Ealing Gazette web... S***...It does say no fire's as yet but, that remains to be seen. How has this been allowed to spread? Criminal thugs should be......

These are useful updates - please continue to post what Twitter are saying for those of us too lazy/busy at work to use it! Thanks.

It has just been reported that an elderly man beaten by rioters in Ealing has died - (which means a murder investigation.) Very sad.

An earlier report on the attackhttp://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/8691976/London-riots-Ealing-resident-fights-for-life-after-mob-attack.html
All change - this from the Guardian live-ticker12.03pm: Just spoken to Met, who say reports of the death of the man beaten in Ealing on Monday are incorrect. He is still in a critical condition, but he is alive, a Met spokesman tells us.
Our thoughts go out to Mr Bowes and his family.
