Concerned re Thai Nice and David Archer

Does anyone know if David Archer and Thai Nice is okay following the recent riots.  He normally posts on a forum elsewhere and we have heard nothing and we are all very worried.  Just to put our minds at rest.  Thanks in advance.chiswickforums.co.uk

Oh I do hope so. Thai Nice is my favoutite  Thai restaurant and the owner and staff are so friendly and welcoming. I will be going that way later so will check. I cannot bear this mindless violence. Please let it stop.

I have driven by. It looks OK but many shops are shut and further down towards Ealing Common there are shops with broken windows. Very very sad to see this.

Thanks.  David has replyed on the forum we normally talk on.  I think he decided not to open today for the safety of his staff.  Really hoping everyone is okay.

Speaking of which, Thai Nice have an anniversary bash coming up.Might be nice to support a local business in these trying times!Here is the guff from the other site:"In 4 weeks time, we at Thai Nice will be celebrating our 10th Anniversary! On Sunday, 4th September from 7.30pm to Midnight we have a big, fun evening planned. There will be an all-you-can-eat 3 course Thai buffet. Thank you Rachael. I did phone after 6pm but just got voicemail. I think many businesses have been advised to close tonight. I dont know why but it feels like we are at war.

I had dinner at Thai Nice a few weeks ago. Very good food and atmosphere. I'm sure the birthday bash will be a great evening.

Yes Susan I agree that Thai Nice is a lovely restaurant. I asked on another thread about the cabaret they do. I got a lot of PMs saying lt's a great show so will be booking a table for their 10th birthday party next month. I'm relieved nothing bad happened to my beloved Acton this week.
