Gardening session in St. Mary's Burial Ground, Saturday 13 August 2-4pm

Hi all, if you feel like making a positive change in the community this week, come and join the Friends of St. Mary's Burial Ground this Saturday, 13 August, from 2-4pm, to do some general gardening - weeding, seed-collecting, tidying up the sunflowers. Come and help keep this green space in the heart of Acton looking good and litter free. There will be cake as an added incentive! Hope you can join us.

Camilla, what's happened to the adjacent wild flower area and the entrance to the Oaks Shopping Centre?

That's not my patch, I'm afraid, and with no access to it since the Oaks people fenced it off, there are no opportunities for any guerilla gardeners either. I suspect the Oaks people have fenced it off pending the approval of the development proposals.
