Minicab to Gatwick; recommendations required.

Any recommendations for local cab firms to run me to Gatwick (from the Acton Town area) very early on Saturday morning?  My usual firm has quoted £48.00 - is this about right?  I'm happy to go with them if so as have always found them reliable, but if anyone knows a cheaper (but still reliable) firm I'd be grateful for suggestions.

The mincab firm I use are excellent. $48 sounds about right as its a long journey to Gatwick. Give them a call to see if they are cheaper020 8 99 33 33 3

So far Churchill's at Acton Town have given the best quote at £48, though this might go up as I will be travelling at an unsociable time!  We always use them in our family as we find them reliable, though I know previous postings on the forum haven't always been positive about them.

I have used Churchills many times for Heathrow and have had no problems with them. I would check with them that the quote is for any time of the day just to be sure.

Can I advise against West London Cars on Churchfield Road. I specified the north terminal and was promptly taken to north of London whilst I slept unaware in the back (it was 5am). My girlfriend and I missed our flight and lost out on our 5 day holiday...
