Local Dimsum resturant

Can anyone recommend a Chinese restaurant that serves good Dimsums please? I say "good dimsums" because I've seen very variable quality in all the dimsums I've tried so far in London.I developed an addition to the little things ever since I tried the mouth-watering dimsums at Jing Fong resturant in New York!Thanks in advance for your help!

Hope this is local enough for you but there is an excellent dim sum restaurant above the Loon Fung supermarket (cannot remember its name) in Alperton which is (itself) opposite Sainsburys!  Certainly popular with Chinese families on the weekends - can't book so get there about mid day if you want to be sure of a table.

I second the recommendation for the dimsum restaurant over Loon Fung (opposite the Sainsburys in Alperton).  Very good.

It's called Dragon City. We're lunchtime regulars as we go shopping at Loon Fung every other weekend.  They have a great selection of dimsum on the menu and the chinese broccoli is to die for.After you've eaten, try shopping for dimsum in the supermarket as it has a massive selection :)

The royal china in Bayswater is very good, our Chinese friend took us there and thought it was very good dim sum.  it gets very busy with queues going out the door and up the road.  http://www2.royalchinagroup.biz/?cid=17I think North China in Acton also does dim sum, they're dinner time food is delicious. If you find anywhere else let us all know-I love yum cha too and may just have to go tomorrow now!

Loon Fung is ok, but the really good ones are in Bayswater. More locally are Water Palace (West Drayton High Street) & Hong Kong on the Bath Road (pass T1-3 turn off).
