Whats going on? Police everywhere

Bottom of the High Street closed off and police all in my noisy neighbours property. Anyone know what's happened?

According to Heart Radio,the High Street is closed off between Market Place and Mansell Road due to a police investigation.

Just spoke to a policewoman, there has been an incident culminating in an injury and the bottom of the High St is a crime scene. The High St will be closed for at least 2 hours and buses are being diverted.

Guy in the paper shop said two people were stabbed early in the morning after a fight near the Windmill pub. Don't know how serious the injuries are.

Police helicopter buzzing around at 3 A.M. approx this morning.  Was tuned into LBC and, announced at 4 A.M that Birkbeck Rd had been closed off due to an incident.  The latest I heard was that the High St is closed from Birkbeck Rd to Market Place.Should be fun getting those bendy buses along Churchfield.

Sorry guys was away the weekend, came aback to news from my neighbours about what went down over the weekend as melvillas road was taped off it happened at 4am and was a serious head injure they came from the party at the club by the iron bridge the road was closed off from the windmill down towards acton park including all side roads.

I heard it was 2 Polish guys fighting outside Pintos, one or more was seriously injured.

Interesting cos the front page story says the incident happened in The Vale, and yet it was the High Street which was cordoned off as the crime scene last Saturday.
