Zero Waste Week 2011 starts 5th September
This year's theme is reducing waste away from home. Recycling on the go banks are turning up all over the place and there is a competition re photos of these. Spotted any in Hounslow yet? Hammersmith have had some for years in King Street (and I think in the parks) and Ealing now have a few. I saw some in Oxford just last week.With a Bank Holiday coming it may be a good time to check when your home collection will be and at the same time whether you are up to date with what can be collected both kerbside and in the local banks.There is a photo and video competition.
