61-63 Churchfield Road - conditions of planning permission

May be of interest P/2011/2827  11/07/201161-63 CHURCHFIELD ROAD ACTON W3 6AY Variation of condition 6 of planning permission ref P/2011/1473 dated 06/04/11which currently reads (Deliveries of newspapers shall be carried out between 06:00-08:00 hours Monday to Sunday by a vehicle not exceeding a maximum unladen weight of 1.5 tonnes. Deliveries of bread and milk shall be carried out between 06:00-08:00 hours Monday to Sunday by a vehicle not exceeding a maximum unladen weight of 7.5 tonnes. It's outrageous, they were rejected in an application for 11 bedsits - mostly without en suite facilities and with an extra floor and mansard roof. All they seem to have done is split it into two applications totalling exactly the same. So it's back to filling in the objection form but this time twice as often.Hoestly, life is too short but i suppose they are relying on people who do the objections like me, feeling like that.Another job for Sunday

AND they have appealed the last decision - a turn down - to the planning inspectorate.Very tedious

Most definitely; this is absolutely disgraceful.... and should these new applications be granted they will set a precedent for further such developments in the area.

Please go onto the Ealing website and object if you can - and on to the Bristol Planning portal and do the same.

I'm confused about this one.  Dee's original post is about bread deliveries so where's the information about the bedsits... or am I being really dense?!

ThIs property has had several planning applications: downstairs associates with the groundFloor shop- then there's the HMO one for 11 Bedsit and a Extra level of building.We opposed this and it was duly rejected by planning. The developers response has  Been to appeal to the inspectorate and meanwhile to re-apply splitting the property into two separate applications so it looks like one HMO of some bedsits  and another for the rest giving even more as a total. It's that which strikes me as scruffySorry if it's confusing

FOR INFOTOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 - NOTIFICATION OF APPEALP/2011/2222Appeal against the Council's refuse for proposalChange of use of lst and 2nd floor office accommodation to a House in Multiple Occupation, 20 x bedsits, 5 x shared kitchen/diners and 11 x shower/WC facilities in conjunction with works approved under application ref P/2011/1473 granted 31/5/11 (new side entrance).An appeal has been made to the Secretary of State in resopect of the the above proposal and initial indications are that this will be considered by the WRITTEN REPRESENTATIONS PROCEDURE.Start date for the appeal 25/8/11 - deadline 6 weeks later, ie 6 OCTOBER.All those who wish to make their views known or confirmed need to do so by 6 October.Contact:  Richard Conroy, Planning East Team, LB Ealing is the Council Officer dealing with this - 020 8825 6600, planning@ealing.gov.uk - for clarification/information on procedures.

This case sounds very similar to a planning application for an HMO in The Sun Pub on the Askew Road. The ground floor would be retail space and developer wanted to add an additional floor making it 3 stories high and a side extension. This would become 20 bedsits (not ensuite) and few bathrooms. Don't know if there were kitchen facilities.It was rejected.

The people applying for the planning permission are obviously hoping everyone who has objected will die, move away, or just get bored.Is the Churchfield Road Community Assn. still objecting to this appeal?A petition I feel should be in the offing.
