loft conversion and extension

can anyone recommend a decent company?I have had so many poor responses from companies from trawling google and yell I'd much rather go with a recommendation!So if you have had works done and it went well (and was good value for money!) I would appreciate the name of a company.Thanks all.

Hi Darren, we had a loft conversion and rear ground floor extention done about 2 years ago.  We used a company run by Tony Murphy (tel: 07788 871976), who did a very good job.  Feel free to PM me to have a look at the work.  I'm also aware of a number of others in the area who have used Tony and could vouch for his company's work.

Hi Darren,Know a guy who has done a house of a friend of mine and is currently doing another loft in Cloister Road which you would be able to visit.  I have also seen other building work done by him and can vouch for him being an honest builder.  He is a St Vincent Parent and a local guy so won't want to mess things up.  I had a quote from him a couple of years ago and he seemed reasonable.  If you want his details give me a call. 8992 8655

Darren - I contacted Tony Murphy further to your comments.  He's still on that phone number but asks that you leave a message as he can't always answer the phone when he's up on a roof doing work.

Hi Darren, we had a loft conversion done earlier this year by More Space.  They are based in Ealing, you should find them on Google.  We were very happy with them and the cost was reasonable.  Good standard of work, but also pretty quick due to Polish crew who worked very long hours.
