I was quite shocked this morning to see how many of the trees have been cut down. Think I counted about eight. Ony thought one or two had died.

There's another thread on this - apparently all dead or dying due to crap irrigation system under the paving - which local residents didn't want at the time a small fortune was spent on it.However Acton is getting half a million for its public space and the council officer responsible for spending it is coming to the CCA AGM on November 23rd to discuss it.

Thanks for the info. It's such a shame that so much council tax money has been wasted. I think the whole re-development of the area has been terrible.
