Trying to locate Anthony (Tony) Byrne

Anthony was our best man when we married on 13th May 1972 at Christ Church, Turnham Green, Chiswick. We are still together heading to our 40th wedding anniversary next May. We would very much like to make contact with Tony or a relative or family member.Tony is likely to be aged 65 - 75 years.  He was in the motor trade in the 60s - 70s. Do you have his address then - work or home? Any family members and where they lived? Last contact details?Was he married, did he have children??

Sadly no. I only visited his house once and that was on the day we got married. I thought it was over towards Turnham Green station side. His job then was selling high end cars from car dealer to car dealer. He was a car person, I think he rolled a 5 ltr BMW at Brands Hatch and then had to retire but that was probbaly late 1960s. I first met him in the George IV Hotel in the Chiswick High Road, the Manager (Sue)says a Tony Byrne had a hair salon for a while in the main street. No sure whether he ever married. We havnt had contact with Tony since we leaft and returned tio New Zealand in 1972.I do wish I couyld be more helpful.

Just checked a 1972 phone book for Hounslow for A. Byrne. 4 listed.  41 Brackenbury Rd W6, 19 Dawley Pde, Hayes, 109 Cowley Road, SW14 and 39 Sheen Ct, Richmond. One T. Byrne 11 Broomfield Rd, W13.Most likely is 41 Brackenbury Rd, W6 if he was on the phone in 1972. Others further out.

There's a Tracy Byrne on Facebook - lives in East London, works at Gala on the phone.I know this because she signed to support "Save Gaby's Deli"as supporter 1880!
