XML Error loading

Don't know if anyone else is experiencing trouble with the website loading.  I keep getting "XML Error loading".  Frustrating!

I was watching as the site was trying to dump a load of additional junk on to my system, which my system simply blocks unless I give explicit permission. The site insists that I accept cookies, my system is delighted to clear the junk on request or when I close the web reader.

"I was watching as the site was trying to dump a load of additional junk on to my system"What sort of "junk"?  Does your system block the adverts which are the revenue stream that funds this free site?By the way, I reported the XML Error Loading problem, and was told that it "is a known one and steps are being taken to resolve it although we have yet to diagnose the problem".  Don't hold your breath ...

There is an advertising bar across the top (which I am able to ignore) but I saw a load of other junk trying to load including monitoring packages. I do not know whether they were acceptable to this site, but I did not want them here. It is too easy to crack most web servers without the owner being aware.

Why don't they just stick to monitoring the forum without us having all those irritating adverts at the top of the screen?If we want to go to a restaurant or find a plumber I am sure we know how to go about locating one!

I use Firefox (re-named Iceweasel because Firefox is a registered name for the Free Open Source Software within) and it is configured to clear the cookies and history when I close all the open web pages, this effectively logs off.

Log on, what a joke.  It don't know me, then after three or four attempts I manage to get in, select a message to reply too.  Please fix this site or up-date it.Recommend Mozilla Firefox as a browser, far better than Internet Explorer.  I don't get tracking cookies with Firefox.
