CCA open meeting November 23rd 1930 - free food!

Actually you don't really need that to lure you along do you?We have Bassam Mafhouz - cabinet member for transport but collectively responsible for all other decisions too - coming along prepared to talk about CPZs and other thingsplusNick O'Donnell who is in charge of spending around half a million quid of Boris's money (well ours of course but deployed by the Mayor of London) on Acton's public spaces - and soon.Both open to questions.Do come

Only one.there had been a gaggle earlier though.Good meeting and well-attended. We felt cheered by Nick's outline of the public sphere plans for Acton High Street and Mount and the imminent disappearance of the beastly green box.

Sara, excellent news indeed - do you have a date for the greeen box's demise?  Perhaps some sort of 'event' could take place around it - and fireworks set off!

You'd think!Nick seemed wholly across the local loathing for the box and it's there with its own line in the budget.Most of the changes are due to happen between February and April 2012 so I suppose around then.
