Goldsmiths Residents Association

I have recently become the secretary of this association and many residents have told me that they do not receive information.  If you are interested in attending the meetings and receiving local information please send me your email address.Goldsmiths Residents Association covers Perryn Road, Friars Place Lane, Vyner Road, Godolphon Place, East Churchfield Road, East Acton Lane, Bowes Road, Gibbon Road, Foster Road, Glendun Road, Western Avenue 127 - 50.Our next meeting is on the 21st February at 7.30pm at St Dunstan’s Church then the Annual General Meeting is on the  3rd April.  Yo can also follow us on Twitter goldsmithsres

Jacqueline - is the Goldsmiths Residents' Assoc still going and if so, do you have a website or can you tell me the current catchment area please?  We are forming the Friary Green Residents' Association and it would be good to know you're out there and active.  Perhaps we can have a chat at some point.  Many thanks. http://www.friarygreenresidents.org.uk/

We provide a local forum for residents to express their views and work together to ensure the needs of the local community are met.  Representatives attend local council and community group meetings such as safer neighbourhood, acton carnival and report back to the residents.  Our meetings are attended by the local police who give crime reports, local councillors and MPs as appropriate.Our successes have been the new pedestrian bridge over the A40 and campaigning against the change of use of 53-55 Friars Place Lane to hostel accommodation.  Membership is £5 per annum and we meet about 4 times per year.
