TOMBOLA PRIZES???

I have the unenviable task of gathering and preparing the tombola items for the Acton Xmas Fair on Saturday December 10th.Can anyone here make any contributions?I really need bottles of all sorts and unwanted gifts for adults and children (we have a separate kiddies tombola to stop them going off with the prize bottle of scotch or vintage champagne)So if you get given things by grateful patients, clients or children. If Auntie Dora always presents you with Sambucco or Bailey's and you only like Ribena or Marge next door comes up with gloves EVERY YEAR. Just remember that I would be grateful for the leftovers (in fab condition though please)  Any time between now and December 9th would be good. I can collect.many thanks

I know how difficult it is to organize a tombola as I had to the same for my son's school last year. (Luckily they have someone else this year). Have you tried asking local restaurants and bars? Last year I did just that. I was surprised how generous they were. I hoped I might get a bottle of wine or two but I ended up with bottles of champagne, cognac, Thai whisky and a meal for 2 included drinks. Yod dont ask, you dont get. Good luck.

I'd rather depend on the generosity of neighbours and individuals if I can - but not a single response so far so am a little gloomy.Have found liqueur chocs and three different sorts of Mozart related bon-bons stashed away and some glasses, a new hand towel and a Xmas boot.Surely other people must have similar.

As I say, I'd rather not ask the shops. Morrisons aren't even members.Surely individuals must still have some goodies stashed away that they neither want nor need.
