BTYahoo software update??
I was asked to look at a BTYahoo setup because an email had been received about an update to BTYahoo software. Because they do not normally use webmail it told them that they need to connect as though by webmail with javascript enabled and then install the update.The computer is running Microsoft and was set up initially by someone else to use Thunderbird and Firefox. I discovered that general updates were available for both Thunderbird and Firefox, so both are now running the latest versions. Each update took hours because they are still on dial-up, so in each case I had to return later. Javascript was already enabled, so I showed them how to connect via the web page but there was no mention of any BTYahoo update available, only an update to Microsoft Internet Explorer which they do not use and do not want to use. Should there be anything else?
