At last the old 'Albion pub' is to be occupied again, Nara is expanding her empire.

I thought Angela Malik was opening a restaurant there. That's what one of her staff told me.

Yes we heard that also but apparently it wasn't to be

Odd. Angela's colleague was quite specific about what needed to be done and when it would happen.
suppose thats why its always best not to say too much until its actually signed
Indeed - the implication - and this was some weeks ago - was that it had been. What is Nara doing? Won't it need another change in planning permission away from being a restaurant?
Yes, one of our clients said that her husband follows her on Twitter (or some other similar site) and apparently she had said on there that it was all going ahead. I don't know about planning permission but as far as I know it is going to be a high-end beauty spa.
Nara? Is that the hairdressers that took over Vanilla's premises?

That's a bit disappointing. I was looking forward to having a nice restaurant there.Beauty salons are becoming the new bookies it would seem.

Surely they are better than bookies!!!

you could argue both take your money and don't give you much back! :-P
ummm think you get a bot more at at beauty salon not that I go!! Perhaps I should!
Nara is a very good beautician. I started using her when she first opened further down Churchfield Road.I look forward to the new premises and wish her all the success she deserves. Her facials are pure luxury.

There one of the few things that you just can't do online and are therefore surely a growth industry. Even food can be ordered online and then delivered. But unless you take your tootsies in yourself, no pedicure!

Unless you do it yourself at home! I hope it's a success whatever it is.
