Muggings Parents be aware
My son has been mugged twice in the last six weeks. Needless to say this has been extremely distressing for him. The first incodent happened at 8am in broad daylight in Twyford Avenue as he was going to school. The youth pulled a knife on him and demanded his phone. The second happened on monday in friary road at approx six pm. On this occasion he was approached by two guys who demanded he hand over the brand new phone. I have to say the police have been great on both occasions. I do however urge all parents to warn their children about using their mobiles in public as this attracts opportunists.
