Watch out for Dave (outside Morrisons)

Silent and speedy, Dave has the advantage on his mobility scooter. I saw him run full speed into the back of a pedestrian, and knock him down, outside Morrisons this afternoon. Obviously one should keep a sharp lookout behind (as well as in front) when walking in this area.

I'm sure it was an accident.  Dave is usually pretty careful with his scooter.He's a great guy with a dry wit, and a generous heart. Hope all are OK.

He may well be but there are a growing number of disputes and incidents with these scooters.Live and let live I say but don't take liberties,ambulant or disabled.

I saw him flip his scooter once on Crown Street by ramming the raised bit of the cycle path at full speed.  I think occasionally he drives under the influence.
