Parking spaces in Gunnersbury Triangle (zone GE)

So I've just been all around the triangle looking for a parking spot after having done my groceries. Not a single spot to be found. I checked a couple of cars' parking permits and these guys don't even live here (one has an expired permit from Islington, another one from Croydon) but I can't complain because parking is free on weekends and in the evenings on weekdays. People park here at night and then drive away in the morning. Where are residents supposed to park at night?Who else feels parking should be controlled and available for residents only 24/7?

I suppose some people park there at weekends and take the Piccadilly Line from Acton Town for night out in central London.  But you wouldn't do that from Islington or Croydon!  Might they not be people visiting friends or family on the estate?As the Gunnersbury Triangle estate is in Turnham Green ward of the Chiswick area of Hounslow, you might get more responses from the Chiswick forum at www.chiswickW4.com, even though you are in W3!  Also, don't forget that two of your local councillors live on the estate, and it may be useful to let them know your views.
