Morrisons car park?

Is it about time for Morrisons to regulate their car park for shoppers only?Every Friday between 12 noon and 3pm it is impossible to park in either the open or underground areas due to those going to the Mosque.Should Morrisons introduce a check out system such as, show a valid till receipt on exit, no fee, otherwise a £10 charge?How is it that the car parks are full and, the store not that busy at the above times on a Friday?

Please not! I have never not been able to park in morrisons and it's our only town centre parkingThe two hour restrictions works well - though once you Know the fine for exceeding that period is unenforceable - the temptation is to be a bit cavalier about it. There would be loads of unintended consequencEs of restricting parking and ibthink it should be resisted

They had that system when they started, where you had to get your parking ticket validated at the checkout, but gave it up very quickly. Something similar works okay at Sainsbury in Chiswick with pay stations and automatic barriers.

If Morrisons car park is for the benefit of their customers, then their customers should be given priority, as no doubt the cost of parking is factored into the prices they charge inside the shop.If you don't buy anything you should pay - and Morrisons should bring in the same system as Sainsbury's in Chiswick.That way, Morrisons customers will win, both ways, by having an improved customer service, and obtaining extra revenue from those buying parking tickets or using their store to spend £5 in order to park.Has the Manager of the store been approached about this problem?

I have never found parking in Morrisons a problem - except maybe just before Christmas but then everywhere's a problem Christmas time.

There does usually seem to be plenty of space but it sounds as if services at the Mosque on Fridays are the problem here.

In which case, can't we just live and let live a bit? With Maria, I have never had a problem. But if I found one on a Friday for a couple of hours, I'd rahter go at another time than have a whole superstructure constructed for a very limited problem.

I visited Morrisons on Wednesday night for some last minute cake making ingredients. I thought the lady with the bulky zip up jacket was sheltering a little baby from the bitterly cold night.Turns out baby was two bottles of vodka.Me and my one track mind.
